Don’t hesitate. If you have an idea and want to try something new, bet on it. Lack of purpose and procrastination can transform you into an observer at the gaming table. An observer is a person that wishes he could play. Actually, deep in his heart, he is a true player but he keeps waiting for the perfect game. There are a lot of advantages to being observer: Observers don’t risk losing. They can keep their chips safe and they are in the best position to criticize and judge the players. Yes, this is a comfortable choice. “Do nothing, fear nothing”- keep doing the same things, and getting the same results. Keep waiting for the perfect cards. Just two questions for the observers: “ how old are you?” and “ When are you planning to achieve the life you want to live?”
Stop observing and be present. Play the cards you have in your hand. Define what you want and bet on “today”. Design your life. Become a player with an “end in mind” (as S.Covey said). This kind of player has dreams, as most people do. But, the difference between this kind of player and everybody else, is that he has a direction. He has a plan and he has decided to
act. He is afraid of taking the first step, too. And despite the uncertainty, he is determined to leap to the other side. Sometimes he will win, sometimes he will lose. But definitely... he will be LIVING.
Increase the possibilities for your projects, your purposes and your dreams just by playing . Take your place at the gaming table, place your bet and…bet on YOU. What are you afraid of? After all, this is not your last round yet, right? As long as you are alive you can ask the dealer for as many cards as you want. Life by itself is the best possibility you will ever have…you can bet on it!
